The Teen Years
It’s those years just before senior year, but after middle school when you start to figure out what you’re about, what your interests are, and which friends you can depend on. You’re experiencing some new freedoms. Maybe it’s a driver’s license or a later curfew. Maybe it’s your first real job because your friends say walking your neighbor’s dog doesn’t count. With all the new freedom comes some uncertainty and, if you’re honest, some fear. Despite all the unpredictability, you still feel safe. Because at the end of the day, you’re not yet on your own. You know you can still go home. These are the teen years.
